addition
Book Lists are issued at the end of the year for the following year.
All stationery and texts required for that year are listed. Parents
complete the booklist and return it to school together with payment
although the items may be purchased through retail outlets, normally
at a higher price.
School
Uniform is available through the school uniform shop which operates
from the school premises. The prices are generally below retail
prices and limited second-hand clothing is available.
Excursions
will require a minimal fee which will be requested immediately prior
to most excursions.
Easy
Pay Plan - In order to make payments for fees easier,
a periodic payment authority can be arranged through the bursar.
Sibling
Discounts - If you have more than one child in Massada
College and the College's Victor Ades Memorial Kindergarten, take
5% off the total for 2 children or 10% off the total for 4 or more
children.
Early
Bird Discounts are available to any parent who pays full fees by
the end of the first week of the term.. The early bird discount
is $50 for those who pay the full term's fees by the above date.
Payment
by Credit Card - Parents may avail themselves of the
following credit card facilities for payment of fees - Bankcard,
Mastercard, Visa and Diners Club.
Financial
Difficulties
Hopefully, the easy pay plan will make it possible for all to pay
full fees in smaller amounts on a regular basis. Parents who have
any difficulty paying the full account are invited to discuss a
suitable arrangement with the Principal. All such discussions are
treated in the strictest of confidence. An application form is available
for fee concession or deferment and only the Principal can match
the family to the financial details required.
Kindergarten
and Child Care Fees
Fees
are $12 per session, and 10 sessions per week are available.
The
school runs a kindergarten on Mondays - Thursdays from 8:30am-5:30pm
and on Fridays from 8:45am-4:00pm for 50 weeks of the year.
The
Victor Ades Memorial Kindergarten is a registered child care provider
attracting the Childcare Cash Rebate introduced by the federal government
in July 1st 1994 through Medicare as well as the Federal Childcare
Assistance Through the Childcare Cash Rebate, parents who pay more
than $16.50 a week in either the kindergarten and/or the after school
hours care are entitled to get a cash rebate at 20c in the $1 provided
the parents are working.
Through
the Childcare Assistance, income earners below levels of approximately
$70,000 (depending on number of children) can have the Federal government
pay for a proportion (up to 90%) of the kindergarten fee. This is
paid directly to the centre and therefore parents need not wait
for a reimbursement. Parents will need to complete a Department
of Social Security form available in the school office.
